200 Day Contract Employment date effective with the 2026-2027 school year.

DESCRIPTION

A professional who specializes in teaching students about health, physical fitness, and wellness. Creating and implementing curriculum that promotes physical fitness, healthy eating habits, and overall wellness for students; Help students understand the importance of exercise and healthy living; Teach students the skills they need to maintain a healthy lifestyle throughout their lives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; Ability to inspire and motivate students of all ages and skills levels; Knowledge of child and adolescent development.

QUALIFICATIONS

Eligible for or holds a West Virginia teaching certificate endorsed for Health Education, 0K-12 or Health Education PK-AD; Physical Education 0K-12 or Physical Education PK-AD; Wellness 9-12; First Aid and CPR Certification

REQUIREMENTS

Must pass a background check; Mandatory training sessions

SALARY:
