• San Bernardino County - 4.0 Colton, CA Job Details Full-time $135,532.80 - $153,150.40 a year 7 hours ago Qualifications NRP Certification RN License BLS Certification Full Job Description The Job Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is looking for experienced Per Diem Critical Care Registered Nurses who will be assigned to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) . This position is responsible for providing direct patient care during all phases of care in the procedural area, and will plan, evaluate, and implement patient care according to accepted standards of practice.

ARROWHEAD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER
Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empire's newest medical school. CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Pre-Employment Process:
Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation, drug test, verification of employment history and education.
Per Diem:
Per Diem Nurses are not Regular Positions within the County, and there should be no expectation of continued employment or guaranteed hours. Working as a Per Diem Nurse does not preclude you from applying and competing for Regular nursing positions within the County. (Refer to the San Bernardino County website for current open recruitments.)
Availability:
Twenty-four (24) hour responsibility; on-call and call-back, rotating, weekend and holiday coverage may be required.
Certifications:
Additional certifications may be required depending on the needs of the department.
Sponsorship:
San Bernardino County is not able to consider candidates who will require visa sponsorship at the time of application or in the future. Minimum Requirements Applicants must possess all the following:
License:
Must possess and maintain Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.
Experience:
One (1) year of full-time equivalent experience as a licensed registered nurse.
Certification:
Must possess and maintain current Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and must possess and maintain the following unit specific certifications/courses required to work in the
NICU :
Neonatal Intensive Care Course (16-30 hour course) Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation (NPR) Desired Qualifications Candidates possessing a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and experience in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit are desired.
