The position entails verifying prescriptions, with a focus on retail checks and some non-sterile compounding requiring formula calculations. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct retail prescription verifications accurately and efficiently Perform checks on non-sterile compounded medications, including calculation of formulas Utilize Pioneer RX for order entry and processing Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety protocols

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Licensed pharmacist with an active Virginia pharmacy license Solid experience in retail pharmacy settings Familiarity with non-sterile compounding methods is preferred Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to compounding formulas Competency with Pioneer RX or similar pharmacy management systems
