Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist - Retail Job Type Per Diem A retail pharmacist position is available to provide vacation coverage in a community health center pharmacy setting. This per diem opportunity takes place from Monday, June 22 through Friday, June 26, with shifts running from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The location is approximately one hour north of Columbus, OH. Qualified candidates will hold an active Ohio pharmacist license and possess retail pharmacy experience. Prior experience within Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) or 340B program settings is highly preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with the Rx30 pharmacy system is beneficial but not required. A skilled pharmacy technician will be available to assist in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispense medications and provide typical retail pharmacy services Counsel patients on medication usage and safety Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care Maintain accurate records and comply with regulatory requirements Utilize pharmacy systems for prescription processing and inventory management

Qualifications:

Current Ohio pharmacist license Proven retail pharmacy experience Preference for experience in FQHC or 340B environments Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with Rx30 system preferred
