Job Description

Job Overview Join our vibrant Little Performers Theater team as a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher dedicated to inspiring young children through engaging theatrical and dance experiences. In this paid role, you will bring stories to life, foster creativity, and create joyful memories for children in a lively, supportive environment. Your passion for theater, dance, and working with children will shine as you lead interactive performances that spark imaginations and promote self-expression. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your talents in dance, theater, and public speaking while making a positive impact on young audiences. This position lasts one week and is for 2 hours per day for 5 days culminating in a performance of our littlest performers ages 3.5-6. All lesson plans are provided. Earn $600 in a week teaching just 2 hours per day 4pm to 6pm. You must be great with early education and EEC a plus! Camp dates June 22nd - June 26th.
Hours:
4pm-6pm. Responsibilities Lead energetic and captivating performances that incorporate dancing, acting, and storytelling tailored for young children ages 4-6 years old Engage children through interactive activities, encouraging participation and fostering confidence Collaborate with fellow performers and instructors to develop creative routines and theatrical presentations Maintain a lively and positive atmosphere during performances to ensure an enjoyable experience for all participants Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure clarity of instructions and safety protocols Assist in setting up performance spaces, costumes, and props to support seamless show execution Support teaching staff in rehearsals or special events by demonstrating enthusiasm and professionalism Requirements Proven experience in dancing, theater, or related performance arts Strong public speaking skills with the ability to connect with young children in an engaging manner Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with children, parents, and team members Passion for working with children and creating fun, educational experiences through performing arts Ability to work actively on your feet for extended periods during performances and rehearsals Creativity and flexibility to adapt performances based on audience engagement and event needs Prior teaching or childcare experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Join us at Little Performers Theater where your energy fuels imagination!
