Team members have the opportunity to contribute to open-source projects that can shape the future of AI-driven computing. Role Description The Campus Ambassador role at CoArena is a part-time, remote position focused on raising awareness of CoArena's work in LLM frontier research within university communities. Day-to-day tasks include promoting CoArena events and opportunities through online channels, engaging with student groups, and identifying individuals or clubs interested in AI, open-source, and computational research. Campus Ambassadors will share CoArena's content on social media, coordinate virtual info sessions or study groups, and collect feedback from peers about their interests in AI tools and research. The role also involves communicating regularly with CoArena's team, reporting on outreach activities, and suggesting new ways to increase campus engagement and participation in CoArena's projects. Qualifications Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to present information to diverse student audiences. Interest in AI, large language models, open-source software, or computer science, with the ability to explain complex topics in accessible language. Experience in student organizations, peer leadership, community building, or event coordination, especially in technical or research-focused groups. Digital fluency, including effective use of social media, online communities, and collaboration tools to promote initiatives and engage peers. Self-directed work style, reliability in meeting commitments, and ability to manage part-time responsibilities alongside academic work. Currently enrolled in a college or university program; STEM or related fields are beneficial but not required. Prior involvement in hackathons, research projects, or open-source communities is a plus.
