Duties May Include Perform as various haunted characters, utilizing acting skills to engage and scare visitors in an entertaining and safe manner Apply creative makeup designs to transform actors into monsters, ghosts, or other spooky personas, ensuring detailed and durable effects suitable for live performances Interact with guests through crowd engagement techniques, including public speaking and lively banter to enhance the immersive experience Use microphones and voice acting skills to project voices clearly during performances and maintain character consistency Manage live streaming or recorded content related to the attraction's promotional activities or behind-the-scenes features Coordinate with team members during scene changes or special effects to ensure smooth transitions and audience safety Assist with overall attraction operations, including set management, costume adjustments, and maintaining a high-energy environment that keeps visitors excited and engaged Experience Previous experience working in a haunted attraction is highly desirable but not required Strong public speaking skills with the ability to command attention and maintain audience engagement during live performances Experience in acting, theatre production, or film performance that demonstrates versatility in character portrayal Skilled in makeup artistry with knowledge of special effects makeup techniques suitable for live events Familiarity with studio recording or live streaming platforms for promotional content creation is a plus Excellent communication skills combined with the ability to teach or demonstrate makeup techniques or performance tips to team members Background in dance, voice acting, modeling, or theater enhances ability to perform physically demanding roles and entertain diverse audiences This paid position offers a vibrant environment where your talents can shine—help us create unforgettable Halloween experiences while developing your performance skills!
