Actors Needed for
Immersive Horror Experience Description:
Witch Hunt Theatre is looking for Lead Actors and Supporting Actors for our biggest horror event of the year: Reap & Sow. Part immersive horror play, part interactive Halloween experience, Reap & Sow will be performed on Ward's Berry Farm from 10/1-10/31.
Description:
Something's very wrong on this farm... Deep within the corn maze, a cult tends to rituals no one was meant to see. Behind the smiles of the farmers, nothing is quite what is seems. your tour guide uncover what's really happening as she searches the grounds for answers, and find out what's been lurking in the dark... before it finds you first.
Rehearsal scheduled around actor/SM availability, about 3-4 rehearsals from 9/1-10/1.
Tech TBA (2 dates between 9/26-9/30)
First Performance 10/1
Last Performance 10/31
Compensation:
$200/day for Lead Actors (tech & performance dates), $100/day for Supporting Actors (tech & performance dates)
If we exceed our projected revenue, bonuses will be provided after the run closes

For Lead Actors:

The Doppelganger.
F, 20-30.
Seeking 4 female-identifying actors who all look alike. She is our protagonist and our guide on the farm
Physical readiness: Comfortable with an active, physically demanding performance environment, including walking, running, crouching, hiding, and navigating unconventional spaces for extended periods, often in the dark
Comfort with theatrical effects: Willing to get dirty, messy, and fully engage with the environment, including exposure to theatrical effects such as fake blood, dirt, and other stage/immersive materials
Must be available for all dates
Must have reliable transportation. Additional mileagepensation will be provided if able to drive other actors/ASM to location.

For Supporting Actors:
Role:
Various. Seeking 6 actors of all ages/genders/identities to play various haunts and creatures on the farm
Physical readiness: Comfortable with an active, physically demanding performance environment, including walking, running, crouching, hiding, and navigating unconventional spaces for extended periods, often in the dark
Comfort with theatrical effects: Willing to get dirty, messy, and fully engage with the environment, including exposure to theatrical effects such as fake blood, dirt, and other stage/immersive materials
Supporting actors DO NOT need tomit to every weekend of the production, but must be available for the full Thursday-Saturday performance schedule for each weekend they are cast.
Must have reliable transportation. Additional mileagepensation will be provided if able to drive other actors/ASM to location.
