Job Description

Casting "The View from Up Here," a short film.
Content warning:
Discusses suicide
Synopsis:
A young woman contemplates suicide one night on the rooftop. Just as she is about to make her final step, she is stopped by a stranger, another woman, about ten years older, who seems determined to keep the young woman alive. As the script unfolds, the two spend the night talking about living and death and what it means to be brave. What tugs at the young woman is that the woman who saved her seems oddly familiar... This film attempts to candidly discuss the topic of suicide, why people do it, and confront the grief of both living and dying head-on.
Director states:
"This is a topic that I am both passionate about and deeply connected to, and I hope to share this story and the making of it with a passionate and talented team."
