Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and charismatic Burlesque Performer to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for performance art, with a flair for dancing and theatrical expression. This role requires an individual who can engage and entertain audiences through captivating performances that blend dance, storytelling, and artistry. A background in theater or experience in public speaking will enhance your ability to connect with the audience and deliver memorable experiences. Responsibilities Perform engaging burlesque acts that showcase dance skills, creativity, and stage presence. Collaborate with choreographers and directors to develop unique routines that align with the vision of the production. Participate in rehearsals to refine performances and ensure high-quality presentations. Communicate effectively with fellow performers, crew members, and management to coordinate show logistics. Engage with the audience before and after performances, fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Contribute to promotional events and community outreach programs, including performances for children when applicable. Maintain professionalism during all performances and adhere to safety protocols on stage. Experience Proven experience in dancing, theater, or related performing arts is preferred. Strong public speaking skills to effectively engage with audiences of all ages. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and connect with viewers. Experience working with children is a plus, particularly for educational or family-oriented performances. Teaching experience in dance or performance arts is advantageous for mentoring aspiring performers.
