Casting Call one Female presenting artist for a Lady liberty character role Hi there Skyler Here with Sky High Events We are looking for an actress, dancer, extra or anyone interested in filling a character role. Nothing to memorize, no choreography, but must be able to interact with guests and team members. The event date is Saturday, July 4th, 2026 in Greensboro, NC. Start time TBD but it would be in the afternoon for three consecutive hrs. In search of one female presenting actress or anyone interested. Not sure who's available so please respond asap will get back to you right away once we have received everyone's submissions.

Location:

Downtown Greensboro, NC. Exact address to be announced. If you are in the Greensboro, Winston Salem, highpoint or surrounding triad area we will prefer starting there for the opportunity but if you are in the charlotte, Raleigh or 2-3 hour radius from Greensboro we will take your response for consideration for this event or others. If you are just in town for the season or here for family, work or school and your schedule allows you to apply please do so. However, anyone is welcome to submit their interest as we may need you for future opportunities and contacts in case.

Costume:

We need a female Performer that is approximately Height 60"-72" (5ft-6ft) for Lady Liberty costume: See picture attached for examples of our look.

Expectations:

Roam/wander around in costume performing impromptu meet n greets and photo ops while portraying the stoic animated movements that bring the character to life. No intense movements as the costume character is known for its statuesque pose. More mild movements than wild. As is written this isn't a stationary living statue position it's a character position as a living statue that is mobile and verbal. Additionally interact with guests that are floating around taking pictures, and charming all ages. No previous training is needed. You will be in industry grade FDA approved hypoallergenic body paint from arms and upper chest up. To be clear you will have to be body painted by our professional body painter. Again full arm and upper chest, neck and face will be painted. Painting will be done privately as usual one on one with our professional artist coordinated and produced by sky high events. You will be expected to be fully clothed for the painting and asked to wear a sleeveless top to be painted in. For the character Lady liberty, it is generally understood that the scope of work is that there are Two Props The Torch must be in your right hand arm extended. The Tablet must be in your left hand, left elbow rested by your hip. Well discuss more!

Conditions:

Please note you will be on foot standing for hours outdoors. If you are not comfortable with the conditions understand that are no other options for this event. There will be breaks and we will provide costuming and everything you need the day of as well as tutorial videos and pics of costume. You must have reliable transportation. Pickup for this event date cannot be arranged. You will have a event manager liaison coordinating your needs and costume ready for you upon arrival or prior to day of. We will discuss one on one arrangements.

Audience:

This is family-friendly where children, adults, and fur babies are all allowed. All PG performing. Tattoos must be covered! Qualifications Proven experience or training in dancing, theater, or related performance arts preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences confidently. Experience in public speaking or storytelling to create immersive guest interactions. Must be comfortable wearing costumes for extended periods and performing physically demanding routines.
