Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Makeup Artist / Wig Stylist for our independently funded proof of concept film Honey by a Thread, a dystopian drama currently in production. This project is being created as a proof of concept for a planned feature film shooting next year, with intentions for festival submissions and investor fundraising.
Makeup Needs:
One practical SFX head wound application Dirt/grime makeup on select cast members Lace front wig application/styling Natural makeup for cast We are looking for someone collaborative who wants to grow with the project long term. Our team is building something ambitious and visually driven, and we'd love to bring on artists excited about storytelling, filmmaking, and creating strong portfolio material. About the
Project:
Honey by a Thread is a female-driven dystopian film exploring themes of identity, control, resilience, and hope. The proof of concept will be used for: Festival submissions Investor presentations Fundraising events across the Southeast Building the audience ahead of the feature
