09/01/2026 Spring Musical - Acting/Technical Assistant Reports to the Superintendent, Principal, and/or Supervisor of Fine & Performing Arts. In conjunction with the Spring Musical Director, responsibilities include all acting/technical aspects of the production, but are not limited to:

General Duties and Responsibilities :

In conjunction with the Director, support the rehearsal objectives Principles and techniques of acting Enunciation, diction, dialect, expression, improvisation, projection Acting style, character development, personality Singing/vocal production Scheduling acting-specific rehearsals Blocking and staging Participate in audition and casting process Stagecraft, stage makeup, costume craft Lighting & sound design

Qualifications :

Ability to maintain a positive work environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proven ability to produce high-quality theatrical experiences Strong organization skills Passion for student-centered arts education Committed to continuous program growth and to creating meaningful performance opportunities Appropriate New Jersey Certification or New Jersey Substitute Certification required
