Archy, a dental practice management software company, is casting for a short deadpan comedy ad shooting May 18th. Paid, with usage across paid social and web. You'll play a dental patient finishing up a routine cleaning. The role is speaking role with one line ("Thanks, doc."), but it's the most important piece of the spot: the entire joke hinges on your complete non-reaction to something absurd happening behind your dentist. We need someone who can stay totally relaxed and neutral, the way any real patient would look at the end of an appointment, even when the take gets ridiculous. Expect multiple takes. Open to any gender, age, or ethnicity. Looking for a naturalistic presence, someone who reads as a real patient rather than a performer, and is comfortable reclined in a dental chair and filmed in tight reaction shots.
