Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance and a genuine love for teaching children and/or adults. We are looking for a Hip-Hop, jazz, ballet and contemporary dance Instructors. You will be hired as an employee and be responsible for educating students and creating choreography to show at the end of each session while fostering a positive and encouraging environment. Your role will involve not only teaching dance techniques but also contributing to the overall development of our students through creative expression.
Current teaching needs include:
Intermediate & Advanced Hip Hop Beginning & Intermediate Jazz Beginning & Intermediate Ballet Beginning & Intermediate Contemporary Young Combo classes (Ballet & Jazz and/or Tap & Jazz) Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging dance lessons tailored to different age groups, particularly eight and up. Educate students on various dance styles, techniques, and choreography while ensuring a fun learning atmosphere. Foster creativity and self-expression in students through movement and dance. Create and adapt curriculum that align with different age groups. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Collaborate with other instructors to plan performances and showcase events for students. Encourage teamwork and cooperation among students during group activities. Video and upload practice videos Show up on time and sometimes be responsible for closing up the studio. Respond to management emails in a timely manner and follow through with various tasks each session. Experience Previous experience in teaching dance or working with children/and or adults is highly desirable. Familiarity with childhood development concepts is beneficial for understanding student needs. A passion for the arts and commitment to nurturing young talent is essential for this role.
