Jazz Dance Instructor/Choreographer Inspire Dance Centre - 2.0 Gresham, OR Job Details Part-time From $25 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Teaching visual & performing arts Working with students Jazz dance Lesson planning Classroom Teaching Choreography Teaching Full Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Jazz teacher to join our dance studio. The ideal candidate should be passionate about dance and have a strong background in Jazz, with previous teaching experience.
Responsibilities:
Teach Jazz classes Implement our syllabus into your weekly lesson plans Create choreography for performances & possible competitions Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance Collaborate with other dance teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and productive learning environment Attend meetings and events as required
Requirements:
Jazz training Teaching experience Strong knowledge of Jazz technique and terminology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passionate about dance and committed to the development of students' skills and abilities Ability to work flexible hours We have openings in our youth Jazz program for ages 6 - 18, with skill levels ranging from beginner to advanced.
