May specialize in classical dance tradition or contemporary or jazz dance forms. May also work with other performers such as figure skaters, or choreograph musicals or other movie scenes.

Job Description:
The Department of Music, Theatre and Dance seeks part-time instructors to teach undergraduate courses in Theatre and Dance. Applicants are added to the pool list throughout the year. Appointments are made on a semester-by-semester (fall/spring) basis with opportunities for long-term part-time employment. Hiring decisions are made in late-spring/early summer for the fall semester, and early fall for the spring semester. In alignment with the mission of Salve Regina University, the Department of Music, Theatre and Dance is committed to cultivating graduates with enduring values that enhance their ability to think critically, respond creatively, and actively promote universal justice. MA or MFA with professional teaching experience. A BA or BFA without an MA/MFA will be considered for studio course instruction if the candidate has equivalent performance and/or teaching experience.
