Job Overview Do you have a passion for dance, experience in the competition world and a love for inspiring the next generation of performers? Rising Stars Performing Arts Studio is looking for energetic, positive, and dedicated Instructors to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles, including ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, etc. We're looking for Teachers who possess the ability to engage and inspire students of all ages and skill levels, who have an extensive background in competitive dance and choreography. This role involves developing and implementing dance curricula, managing classroom dynamics, and fostering a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression. Duties Develop and implement engaging dance curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Teach various dance styles, with a focus on ballet, while ensuring proper technique and safety. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a respectful and productive learning atmosphere. Provide individualized attention to students, offering tutoring and support as needed. Plan and execute lessons that incorporate elements of choreography, movement, and performance. Help organize dance recitals or showcases to highlight student progress and achievements. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for students. Maintain a safe and clean studio environment conducive to learning. Requirements Proven experience in teaching dance, with a strong emphasis on classroom management and correct technique. Have competitive dance experience Love creating innovative, award-worthy choreography Can inspire confidence while building strong technique. Are dependable, professional and eager to grow Thrive in a collaborative, team-first environment Are passionate about helping dancers reach their full potential Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff.
