Moneta, Virginia Work Hours:
Tuesdays, 4:00-5:30 PM (1.5-hour weekly class) About Us We are a Christ-centered dance studio offering beginner-friendly dance classes for kids and adults. With a focus on clean music, modest costumes, and every step offered as worship for an Audience of One , we strive to create a space where students grow in confidence, skill, and character. Our Moneta studio is a supportive, joy-filled environment where students thrive and instructors lead with excellence, creativity, and faith. We aim to nurture both technical development and spiritual growth in every class. Position Summary We are seeking a passionate and dependable Dance Instructor to teach a Beginner Level One class (ballet and tap) for ages 8-11. This is a wonderful opportunity for an instructor who values working with young dancers, creating age-appropriate choreography, and helping each child discover the joy of dancing for the Lord.

  • 35 per hour (commensurate with experience) Responsibilities Teach a weekly 90-minute class including ballet and tap for ages 8-11.
Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that prioritize technique, fun, and faith. Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment that encourages participation and respect. Use clean, upbeat music and modest movement in alignment with studio values. Incorporate Christian themes in an age-appropriate and engaging way. Prepare students for studio performances, including recital choreography and rehearsals. Communicate clearly with students, families, and staff. Support studio events such as picture week, recital weekend, and seasonal performances as needed. Desired Skills & Qualifications Experience teaching young children in ballet and tap styles Strong alignment with Christian values and mission Friendly, encouraging, and energetic teaching presence Skilled in classroom management and communication Ability to plan engaging, structured lessons Punctual, organized, and reliable Degree or formal training in dance is a plus, but not required CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain) Hiring Process Our hiring process is designed to ensure a strong mutual fit and typically includes: Application
