In this role, you will teach various dance styles, and craft innovative choreography that energizes and motivates learners. Your enthusiasm for dance, combined with your ability to manage classes effectively, will foster a positive environment where creativity and skill flourish. Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive dance curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels, incorporating techniques such as ballet, theater dance, and contemporary styles. Lead engaging dance classes that emphasize proper technique, artistic expression, and enjoyment for students of all backgrounds. Develop original choreography for performances, recitals, or competitions that showcase students' talents and progress. Manage classroom dynamics by applying effective behavior management strategies and creating an inclusive, respectful atmosphere. Provide personalized tutoring and feedback to help students improve their dancing skills and achieve their goals. Collaborate with parents, school staff, or community organizations to coordinate performances and special events. Requirements Proven experience in teaching dance classes across various age groups, including early childhood education and adult learners. Strong background in multiple dance styles such as ballet, theater dance, or contemporary movement. Ability to foster a positive learning environment while managing classroom behavior effectively. Skills in choreography creation for performances or competitions that inspire student engagement.
Pay:
$22.80 - $27.46 per hour
