Catherine
- 25, Female. Fiercely loyal and stubborn. She gave up her education to care for her brilliant but mentally ill father. Her sharp, intelligent wit masks an insecurity about her mental health.
Claire
- 29, Female. Catherine's older sister. Level-headed, pushy, and pragmatic.
Hal
- 28, Male. A mathematician and former PhD student. Warm, well-meaning, and intelligent, slightly awkward.
Robert
- CAST. 50s, Male. A renowned Mathematics Professor. Warm but struggling with severe mental illness.
