Dance Studio Operating PartnerJoint Venture Opportunity with California Strong Athletics Have you always wanted to own and operate your own dance studio but were unsure how to get started? California Strong Athletics is expanding its gymnastics program and developing a premier, approximately 2,000-square-foot dance studio. We are looking for an experienced dance professional to launch, lead, and grow the program as an independent operating partner. Our expertise is gymnastics, youth-program operations, marketing, sales, customer service, and facility management. Your expertise is dance. This opportunity is designed for someone who wants the freedom and financial upside of operating their own dance program without taking on the full cost and risk of opening a traditional studio independently. The Opportunity As the Dance Studio Operating Partner, you will be responsible for developing and leading the dance program under the California Strong Athletics brand. You will have the freedom to create the class schedule, curriculum, lesson plans, staffing model, performances, events, and overall direction of the program, provided it operates within the culture, safety standards, and expectations of California Strong Athletics. California Strong Athletics is a Kids First, Sports Second organization. We use athletics as a tool to build confidence, character, relationships, and positive experiences that extend beyond the activity itself. What You Will Need The ideal operating partner will have: At least 10 years of dance instruction, leadership, or studio experience A strong understanding of dance curriculum, class development, and instructor training A desire to become an influential and trusted leader within the community A relationship-focused approach to working with children, parents, employees, and community partners A full-time commitment to launching, marketing, and growing the program Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and customer-service skills An entrepreneurial mindset and desire to build a long-term business An LLC or sole proprietorship California Strong Athletics can provide general guidance and resources to help establish an appropriate business structure. Operating Partner Responsibilities The Dance Studio Operating Partner will be responsible for: Developing dance classes, curriculum, lesson plans, and progression systems Establishing the program schedule and class offerings Recruiting, hiring, training, supervising, and retaining dance instructors Managing instructor payroll and related employment obligations Ensuring instructors are properly classified and paid in accordance with California labor laws Maintaining high standards for instruction, safety, customer service, and program quality Participating in community events, performances, showcases, and promotional activities Working collaboratively with California Strong Athletics on enrollment, retention, marketing, and program growth Meeting agreed-upon operational, financial, performance, and cultural standards What California Strong Athletics Provides California Strong Athletics will provide the infrastructure and support needed to significantly reduce the barriers associated with opening an independent dance studio, including: A professionally developed, approximately 2,000-square-foot dance studio Use of the established California Strong Athletics brand Access to an existing customer base and community following Facility lease and occupancy expenses Utilities General facility insurance, subject to the final agreement Marketing strategy and approved marketing expenses Sales and customer enrollment support Administrative systems and operational guidance Cross-promotion through gymnastics, camps, events, and other youth programs Brand, safety, and operational oversight Revenue-Sharing Structure The operating partner will receive between 40% and 60% of the dance program's gross collected revenue , paid monthly. The final revenue-sharing percentage will be agreed upon when the contract is established and will remain fixed unless both parties agree to modify it in writing. The percentage will be based on the value the operating partner brings to the program at launch. Factors may include an existing student base or competitive team, a strong professional reputation, established community relationships, experienced instructors, or other assets that contribute to the immediate success and growth of the program. The selected operating partner will work as an independent contractor through their own business entity and will not be an employee of California Strong Athletics. The operating partner will be responsible for their own business operations, taxes, instructors, payroll obligations, insurance requirements, and legal compliance. The dance program will operate under the California Strong Athletics brand and will remain subject to agreed-upon brand standards, safety requirements, financial reporting, quality controls, and operational oversight. Pay:
$25,000.00 - $96,000.00 per year
