Created and directed by Billie King, "On and On" is a theatrical stage production combining dramatic acting, music, dance, and expressive movement to tell a powerful story set in the 1970s and driven by the music of Curtis Mayfield. Seeking strong actors as well as dancers. Professional dance training is not required for all acting roles. Some characters primarily require strong dramatic acting with the ability to communicate physically and move comfortably onstage, while the lead roles require stronger dance/movement ability. Also casting a skilled dance ensemble that serves as an emotional extension of the story. Roles include male and female leads, featured and supporting actors, young characters, and ensemble dancers. Performers must be available for rehearsals and performances in Los Angeles.
