In this role, you will develop creative choreography, foster a positive learning environment, and help students build confidence and technical skills in hip hop dance. Your passion for movement and ability to connect with diverse learners will be key to creating memorable, empowering dance experiences that promote physical activity, self-expression, and cultural appreciation. Duties Design and implement comprehensive hip hop dance curricula tailored to different age groups and skill levels, incorporating elements of rhythm, style, and improvisation. Lead engaging dance classes that emphasize proper technique, coordination, and musicality while maintaining a lively and motivating atmosphere. Develop creative choreography for performances, showcases, or competitions that highlight students' talents and progress. Manage classroom dynamics effectively by implementing behavior management strategies and ensuring a safe, inclusive environment for all participants. Provide individualized guidance and feedback to help students improve their dancing skills, boost confidence, and achieve personal goals. Collaborate with other instructors or program coordinators to plan special events, workshops, or community outreach activities related to hip hop culture. Maintain accurate attendance records, lesson plans, and progress reports to monitor student development over time. Qualifications Experienced in hip hop dance or similar styles such as street dance or urban choreography.
