Hip Hop Dance Instructor Harrisburg, NC Job Details Part-time $20 - $40 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Teaching visual & performing arts Mid-level Teaching arts Bachelor's degree Dancing Higher education teaching 1 year Teaching Full Job Description Dance Fusion is a growing competitive & recreational dance studio (est. 2009), located just outside of Charlotte & only 3 miles from the campus of UNC-Charlotte, with approximately 120 students and over 20 weekly classes offered. We are hoping to expand our current staff of lead instructors! At this time, primary area of instruction in need is Hip-Hop, ages 5 & up. Ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year lead teaching experience, extensive dance training at the university level or equivalent, and performance experience. Bachelor degree is a plus! Must be encouraging, upbeat, organized, focused, passionate about the performing arts and must communicate well with others. Must have reliable transportation and be available to teach Tuesdays between the hours of 5-6pm. Hourly pay, based on experience and education. Qualified candidates should expect a brief phone or in person interview & to teach a class in their preferred genre.
