Job Description
Located in beautiful Westchester, NY! Accessible from MetroNorth (easily commutable from NYC). We are offering a line up of classes to make your trip to the studio worth your time.
Who we are:
- A thriving, very busy dance studio committed to excellence in dancing and dance pedagogy
- We are the longest continually operating dance studio in Westchester! Going on 47 years!
- A studio that believes in hard work and dedication to the craft of dance but also embraces the special quality of each person who comes through our doors
- A place where students learn a curriculum of dance through regular classes, an auditioned pre professional "Company," and Ballet Academy.
- Our students have several opportunities to perform in the fall/winter in The Nutcracker as well as in the spring in our Company Show and Spring Recital.
Who you are:
- An experienced teacher with knowledge of pedagogy and process for training the modern dancer
- A desire for and commitment to teaching and bringing up the next generation of dancers
- Experience teaching classic Hip Hop styles and ability to break the technique down for kids
- We would love to hear from you for any style of dance and any age: Tots
