Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment that encourages participation and respect. Adapt lesson plans to accommodate different learning styles, special needs, or developmental stages of students. Foster teamwork, confidence, and self-expression through dance activities and group performances. Collaborate with parents, school staff, and program coordinators to support student progress and participation. Qualifications Proven experience teaching dance, particularly in hip-hop styles, with strong choreography skills. Background in visual & performing arts education or related fields such as theater or musical performance. Experience working with children or youth programs, demonstrating effective classroom management and behavior guidance. Knowledge of curriculum development tailored for creative arts instruction in an educational setting. Familiarity with teaching musical instruments or integrating music into dance instruction is a plus. Ability to plan engaging lessons that promote childhood development, early childhood education principles, and inclusive practices. Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff while fostering a positive learning environment.
