Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Hip Hop Dance Instructor to inspire and motivate students through the vibrant art of hip hop dance. This role involves designing engaging dance curricula, leading lively classes, and fostering a positive environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and self-expression. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dance, strong choreography skills, and experience working with diverse age groups, especially youth. As a Hip Hop Dance Instructor, you will play a key role in nurturing students' artistic talents while promoting teamwork, discipline, and fun in every session. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive hip hop dance curricula tailored to different skill levels and age groups Lead energetic dance classes that emphasize technique, rhythm, and performance skills Choreograph routines for performances, showcases, or competitions that highlight students' talents Manage classroom behavior to create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment Provide constructive feedback to students to support their artistic growth and confidence Requirements Proven experience in dance instruction with a focus on hip hop or urban dance styles Experience working with children and youth in educational or extracurricular settings Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles Excellent classroom management skills to foster discipline and creativity simultaneously Knowledge of teaching visual & performing arts, including theater or musical performance is a plus Background in teaching arts or related fields such as ballet, jazz, or modern dance is desirable Familiarity with choreography techniques Join us as a Hip Hop Dance Instructor and bring your passion for movement to life!
