06/04/2026 Marching Band Assistant The HHS Marching Band is seeking a qualified assistant for the Fall 2026 Marching Band Season. The band director will instruct the candidate through more specific details.
Essential Functions:
Attends Competitions (approximately 6). Attends all rehearsals 3x a week during the course of the season. Attends band camps. Dates and times by Director 7/20/26 - 8/1/26. Implements music technique in a full ensemble and sectional setting. Teaches and cleans drill responsibilities Runs music ensemble rehearsals from an ensemble timing perspective. $39.50 (cash/check) background check/fingerprint fee due upon hire. Instruct and work with student athletes to prepare them for competition. Possess knowledge of rules, strategies, and techniques of sport. Possess a thorough understanding of sports equipment, physical fitness, and safety. CPR/ First Aid, Concussion Certification and CHSAA Letter of Authorization required at time of hire.
