Job Description

Director of Protestant Music Ministries - $50 per hour, based on experience - Dover Air Force Base Lead worship. Build community. Make a meaningful impact through music. Are you passionate about leading worship and creating meaningful experiences through music? We're looking for a talented and experienced Director of Protestant Music Ministries to support the Protestant worship community at Dover Air Force Base. If you're equally comfortable leading a congregation, collaborating with volunteer musicians, and playing both acoustic guitar and piano, this could be the perfect opportunity. What You'll Do As our Director of Protestant Music Ministries, you'll play a key role in shaping weekly worship by: Leading one weekly Protestant worship service and rehearsal. Directing congregational singing with confidence and enthusiasm. Providing live accompaniment on acoustic guitar and piano. Coordinating and rehearsing with volunteer musicians. Setting up and packing away music equipment before and after services. Working closely with the Wing Chaplain to plan music selections and service schedules. Completing weekly timesheets and other routine administrative tasks. What We Offer A flexible, part-time schedule. The opportunity to lead and grow a vibrant worship ministry. Ideally, you'll have: At least 2 years of experience leading worship in a Protestant congregational setting. Strong proficiency on both acoustic guitar and piano. Experience with both traditional and contemporary worship music. A letter of good standing from your current pastor. The ability to pass the required background checks.
