Job Description
Lower Brandywine Presbyterian Church is seeking an Interim Choir Director to lead our adult choir during this Fall as our church conducts a search for a new Music Director. The Interim Choir Director will do a 2 hour rehearsal with the adult choir, and then will lead the adult choir during our Sunday service, coordinating with the church pianist/organist, as well as with the Pastor. The Choir Director may also be called upon to lead our Children's Choir and/or Bell Choir. Qualifications must include prior church choir experience, and knowledge of choral church music and hymms. Although not required, the ability to play the piano will be considered a plus. This job will require on average 4 hours per week, and the weekly wages will be in the range of $150 to $200 per week depending on experience.
