Job Description

KCU Impact Enterprises, is a company comprised of multiple sub-businesses that are dedicated to helping artists and creatives to grow and advance their careers. Company's services range from vocal coaching, logistics and coordination, corporate gigging, bookings, and etc. As the Musical Director , you play a direct role in adding to the network of creatives that we are building to further advance the growth of a lucrative creative community for up-and-coming artists. We are currently hiring a musical director for a particular artist. You will be responsible for aiding the artist with musical arrangements, cohesivity of band sound, and ensuring the music for all shows, festivals, and major performances are show ready.
Requirements:
Proficient in playing the piano/keyboard Minimum of 1 year of Corporate Band Experience Minimum 2-5 years Leadership Experience Must be 20+ years of age. Ability to read sheet music and play by ear (mainly play by ear) Experience performing in front of an audience Punctual, reliable, and dedicated. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Professional, effective, and empathetic communication skills, with a focus on team building. Ability to create transitions and musical arrangements. Willingness to travel Qualities of theBest Candidate:
Self-motivated, enthusiastic and highly passionate about music. Have outstanding customer service skills. Understand what it takes to be successful and willing to commit to the work. Accountable and a team player. Eagerly accept coaching and feedback for improvement. Have a positive outlook - cup is always half full.Responsibilities:
Perform as a piano/keyboard player for the scheduled events. Attend required rehearsals. Have a positive attitude in rehearsals. Maintain clear and timely communication with artistic directors, and production staff regarding scheduling, availability, and any relevant concerns or issues. Prioritize personal safety and the safety of fellow band members.
