TITLE:
COLOR GUARD ASSISTANT SPONSOR REPORTS TO
Band Director
SUPERVISES
Band Students
BASIC FUNCTION
To provide leadership, coordination, and instruction of color guard
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist band director in the instruction of all color guard activities and practices per approved schedule from the band director. Teach and refine the color guard routine Provide after school practices per approved schedule from the band director. Assist band director in designing of flags and costumes. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with high school and/or drum corps
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Work schedule to be established between July 1 - June 30 during marching band and colorguard seasons. Stipend - Salary as established by the Board of Education.
