Job Description

Job Summary Join our team and help shape the sound of our worship experiences! Our Saviour's Lutheran Church is seeking a skilled, part-time Production Lead to manage live sound, balance and troubleshoot our livestream, and maintain our audio systems. If you have a passion for high-quality audio production and a heart for collaborative ministry, we want to hear from you. The Production Lead works in collaboration with the Music & Worship Arts Director to provide technical excellence for worship services and special events. This role is responsible for the oversight, operation, and maintenance of all Audio, Visual, and Lighting (AVL) systems, with a primary focus on building and leading a sustainable volunteer team that facilitates an environment of worship. Responsibilities Serve as Production Lead for all weekend worship services (8:30 & 10:15 am) including in-house and livestream productions. Attend rehearsal of Cornerstone Band and other rehearsals as needed. Train & coordinate additional substitute sound technicians. Oversee all tech booth volunteers during worship and events. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and firmware updates on AVL equipment. Assist in the planning and implementation of future technical upgrades. Explore ways to continue to grow the quality of the production at worship services. Work with Director of Music to design & implement lighting to enhance the worship experience. Develop a "training pipeline" to help new volunteers move from observers to confident operators. Serve as Production Lead for special worship services (Holy Week, Easter, Christmas, etc.) in coordination with Director & Pastoral Staff. Qualifications Full knowledge of live production. Minimum five years experience/skill with technical equipment including preventative maintenance. Passion for leading a congregation in worship. Strong leadership skills, and communication skills. Highly collaborative and a strong team player with both staff and music volunteers. Preferably possess a BA/BS or equivalent certification from appropriate technical school. Experience in contemporary Christian music. Have a good ear - musician experience is preferable
Pay:
$22.00 - $27.00 per hour
