Music Director for Sargent Conservatory of Theatre ArtsIn The Green Description Webster University's Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts invites applications for the position of Music Director for Sargent Conservatory of Theatre Arts' Fall Production of
IN THE GREEN
Music Directors collaborate with the Director to help them realize their artistic vision for a show musically, including selecting the student cast, teaching the music, and bringing the students to a performance level by the time of the show's opening.
Essential Duties Music Directors will:
Attend semester auditions to select the student cast members Lead music rehearsals Collaborate with the director to realize all of the musical elements of the show Collaborate with producer and faculty to ensure artistic process aligns with educational goals of the department Be an integral part of delivering a high-caliber production
