Job Description
St. John's Lutheran Church, Cherryville is seeking a Part-Time Music Director and Organist. The Music Director's job description will include responsibilities coordinating Sunday worship, directing weekly rehearsals, selecting music, preparing worship materials, collaborating with the pastor on weekly and seasonal services, providing leadership for special events, assisting with church functions such as VBS, and encouraging choir and handbell volunteers. Candidates should demonstrate a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, musical proficiency, strong communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to teamwork.
