Job Description
Standing Bear High School is looking for a student-centered educator to serve as the Music Director for the fall musical. This person will work in collaboration with the Theatre Director, Theatre Technician, and Costume Designer to help facilitate the production. This position will be responsible for: Being present at daily rehearsals (scheduled and coordinated with the Theatre Director). Teaching, rehearsing, and polishing all solo and group music. Provide feedback on rehearsals and performances. Supervise and execute musical controls (tracks) during the show. Spend time with soloists outside of rehearsal for preparation. Coordinating with the orchestra pit director, if someone else, on final rehearsals and performances, as well as the rehearsing of the music. Stipend position This position is subject to a veterans preference.
