Haverhill SAU 23 is seeking a Chorus Director for both its 4-8 Middle School and 9-12 High School. This position will have the opportunity to run the entire, district-wide choral program from grades 4-12, as well as teach select general music courses at the middle and high school level. This includes 3 existing choral ensembles with the possibility of the creation of more. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about choral education and looking to make a positive impact on the lives of each of their students. The ideal candidate should be a strong collaborator, innovative, creative, and dedicated to providing a diverse repertoire to their students. Applicants should also be well-versed in the 2014 NAfME performance and general music standards. This position shared between 2 schools works hand in hand with the instrumental director on a parallel track between the same 2 campuses. The candidate must hold a New Hampshire certification (#1200) or be eligible for certification. Pay will be based on experience.
