Full-Time Position for January 2027

Director of Music and Organist | Grace Church

The Organist and Director of Music Ministry will serve as a creative, collaborative leader who guides our congregation into a vibrant and evolving musical future. We are seeking a musician who is both grounded in the rich traditions of sacred music and energized by the opportunity to modernize and expand our music program. This role invites someone who can nurture congregational singing, inspire our musicians, and develop a dynamic, intergenerational music ministry that supports our worship, deepens our spiritual life, and strengthens our connection to the wider community. The ideal candidate brings artistic excellence, a spirit of innovation, and a passion for building a music program that is as welcoming and diverse as the people we serve.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience, along with health insurance and additional negotiable benefits. The role combines a framework of weekly responsibilities with the flexibility needed for thoughtful preparation, rehearsal, and creative planning. During the first year, we will work collaboratively to clarify and refine the scope of responsibilities, ensuring that the position aligns with the evolving needs of the parish and the gifts of the person called to serve. This structure supports both the consistency essential to parish life and the spaciousness required for high‑quality, imaginative ministry.
