Job Description

Mount Carmel Christian Church is a growing church community of approximately 1,500 people in the Cincinnati area. In this exciting season of growth, our church is heavily focused on the mission to love God and love people. Overview The Worship Production Lead will serve Mount Carmel Christian Church by providing leadership, guidance, and care for the teams responsible for the technical production of weekend worship services and church events. This role requires a person who is deeply grounded in their faith in Jesus Christ and committed to supporting worship ministry with excellence and humility, while being technically skilled in production and technology tools. Primary Responsibilities Primary responsibilities include managing and prepping A/V worship equipment, overseeing the production of live worship services, and helping develop the people and systems needed for the demand of ministry. The Worship Production Lead will ensure services are prepared, supported, and executed with consistency. Volunteer Leadership A major focus of the position is leading and developing volunteers including: managing, scheduling, coverage for services and events, recruitment and building a strong pipeline of people who can serve in technical production roles. The Worship Production Lead will also create and maintain a clear training pathway for volunteers, supporting each step with intentional learning opportunities. The goal is to cultivate a healthy, capable, and thriving volunteer community where people are equipped, encouraged, and engaged in serving the church through technology. Additional Qualifications The ideal candidate will be able to work independently while remaining teachable, humble, and eager to grow. This person should have the ability and desire to teach and develop others, communicate clearly, follow through on responsibilities, and build positive relationships within the church community. They should also be approachable, confident, and willing to advocate for helpful change when needed. Education A bachelor s degree with specialization in music, worship, or worship technology is preferred. Candidates with degrees in unrelated fields may also be considered if they can demonstrate the ability, experience, and character needed to successfully fulfill the Worship Production Lead role.
