Job Description
The Big Walnut Local School District is seeking qualified applicants for the below position with our theatre department beginning the 2026/2027 school year: Technical Director (Drama) - one-year supplemental contract Duties to include, but are not limited to: Design, create, build and decorate props and special effects for theater productions Coordinate stage design and layout with the stage director Assist in ordering materials and supplies for productions Ensure safety procedures are followed in set design and layouts Work with students under teacher's direction Configure theater seating for productions Write and distribute promotional theater material for marketing Attend performances for newspapers, display, and staff use Perform other duties as assigned Please contact Nicole Carter (nicolecarter@bwls.net) with questions about the position.
