Choir Director Assistant/Accompanist, Part-Time•(26000085) Description Milton Hershey School (MHS) is one of the world's best pre-K through 12th grade private schools, where approximately 2,200 students from disadvantaged backgrounds are provided with a cost-free home and a top-notch education. Thanks to the generosity of Milton and Catherine Hershey in 1909, the school is fully endowed today, with the resources to ensure students can thrive. The school has prepared over 12,000 graduates to lead fulfilling and productive lives and is expanding to serve more students for future generations. The MHS Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) program impacts students as they can learn a variety of instruments and easily can explore areas of interest or passion right here on campus. MHS is seeking an ancillary Choir Director 1st Assistant/Accompanist for: 5th/6th grade choir, 7th/8th grade choir, and a mixed grade select audition choir. Duties will include up to five rehearsals per week and multiple performances throughout the school year, including several school assemblies and weekend off-site performances. The Choir Assistant will support all responsibilities of the Choir Director and perform standard accompanist duties for the school choir. Additional duties may include small group piano lessons.
