Director of Music Ministries Irwin First United Methodist Church Irwin, PA Job Details Part-time $16.50 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications Music Volunteer management Team development Full Job Description Overview Irwin First United Methodist Church is seeking a part time director of music ministries. This position collaborates with our Pastor and worship team planning music for oour weekly worship services and special services during Lent, Easter, Advent , and Christmas. Directing responsibilities include the Chancel choir, children's choir, handbell choir, and youth chime choir. Administrative responsibilities include maintaining music files, needed equipment maintenance, reporting to licensing agencies etc. Additional duties and hours may be required. . Qualifications Proven experience in leading music ministries within a faith-based or community setting. Strong teaching skills with the ability to instruct musicians of varying skill levels. Demonstrated leadership qualities with experience in team building and volunteer management. Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with team members, congregation, and church leadership. Ability to mentor emerging musicians and foster their spiritual growth through music. Knowledge of musical theory, vocal techniques, and sound equipment operation. A heart dedicated to spiritual service with a passion for inspiring others through music.
