Music Director 45 1st Avenue, Red Lion, PA 17356 $9,000 a year - Part-time $9,000 a year - Part-time Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Music Director to lead our musical programs and inspire both performers and audiences alike. In this vital role, you will craft engaging musical experiences, oversee rehearsals, and foster a vibrant musical community. Your leadership will drive the artistic vision of our organization, ensuring high-quality performances that resonate with diverse audiences. This paid position offers a unique opportunity to shape the musical landscape of our community while nurturing talent and promoting a love for music. Duties Develop and implement artistic vision for all musical productions and performances Lead rehearsals, providing clear direction and constructive feedback to performers Collaborate with other artistic staff to select repertoire that aligns with organizational goals Mentor and support musicians, vocalists, and other performers to enhance their skills Communicate effectively with team members and audiences to promote upcoming events Coordinate with pastor and administrative staff to ensure smooth planning and execution of programs Foster an inclusive, motivating environment that encourages creativity and collaboration Requirements Proven experience in teaching music across various skill levels and genres Demonstrated leadership skills in managing musical ensembles or departments Excellent communication skills to articulate artistic ideas clearly and inspire others Strong mentoring abilities to guide performers' growth and development Ability to organize rehearsals efficiently while maintaining a positive atmosphere Knowledge of music theory, performance techniques, and repertoire selection Passion for fostering community engagement through music Key boarding skills preferred.
