THE HERO'S QUEST

is a non-profit organization where we play age-appropriate Dungeons & Dragons with elementary-aged students while teaching them effective social skills to use beyond the table . We're looking for reliable, creative Dungeon Masters to run weekly D&D tables on campus. This is a weekly, recurring, structured after-school role guiding students through collaborative storytelling, teamwork, and problem-solving in a safe, supportive environment. STYLE We use a custom, stripped-down, "imagination-forward" version of 5e. Fun > Rules. You will encourage teamwork, creativity, and consequence-based decision making Manage table flow, pacing, and group dynamics (including personality conflicts) Create a fun, inclusive, age-appropriate experience for students with different backgrounds, attention spans, empathy levels, and social skills

LOCATION

Multiple elementary schools in the Glendale area Program takes place on-campus Working with students, punctuality is non-negotiable. Reliable transportation is required.

SCHEDULE

Minimum commitment: 1 table per week (8 weeks) 1 table = 2 hours/wk Typical window: 2:30-4:30 PM (small fluctuations may occur) PAY $30 per hour ($60 per session) Paid monthly (every 4 weeks) Consistent, ongoing work You're welcome to take on multiple tables per week (example: one table Tuesday, one table Thursday)

REQUIREMENTS

Working knowledge of D&D 5e Comfortable working with elementary-aged students Must pass a background check (we cover the cost) Prior DM experience required (Teaching or youth experience is a plus, not required)
