Job Description

Casting a community table reading of seasons 1 and 2 of "Lil Chola Girl," an original anime-inspired animated micro-series set in East L.A., blending family, Chicano culture, magical realism, supernatural mythology, and coming-of-age storytelling. Created, written and directed by Robert Banks Ramirez. The reading will bring together professional actors, emerging performers, and members of the East L.A. creative community for the first live presentation of the series. Performers who connect authentically with the characters, community, humor, heart, and cultural world of the story are highly encouraged to apply. Selected performers will receive script materials in advance and should be prepared to participate in a brief rehearsal/read-through prior to the event. Details will be coordinated with the final cast. The reading will not be filmed or recorded.
