Job Description

Grace Presbyterian Church is seeking a capable organist/pianist to provide music for worship services. This role includes playing both organ and piano literature appropriate to a traditional service, accompanying congregational singing, and supporting the overall musical life of the church, including a choir that sings from October through April.
Responsibilities:
Provide organ and piano music for weekly worship services Lead and support congregational singing through strong, steady accompaniment Accompany choir and soloists as needed Select or coordinate music in consultation with the pastor or music director Play for special services (e.g., Christmas, Easter) When available, play for funerals and weddings for an additional negotiated fee
Qualifications:
Proficiency in both organ and piano Familiarity with hymnody and liturgical music Ability to adapt tempo and style to support congregational singing Strong sight-reading skills preferred Dependable and able to work well with church leadership and volunteers
Schedule:
Weekly Sunday service at 10:30am Additional services during major church holidays Occasional rehearsals Weekly evening choir rehearsals from October through
April Compensation:
$625/month
