NDBC is a progressive congregation with a traditional, liturgically structured worship style and a long and rich history of sacred and choral music. The organist will primarily play for Sunday morning worship and accompany the Sanctuary Choir for weekly rehearsals and services, with occasional additional services and musical events throughout the year. Experience & Qualifications Strong proficiency on organ and piano Experience accompanying choirs, vocalists, or other musicians Familiarity with traditional hymnody and sacred music Strong sight-reading and collaborative skills Dependable, prepared, and comfortable working closely with a conductor Church music experience is preferred, but we welcome musicians from a variety of backgrounds We are seeking a collaborative musician to become part of this warm and welcoming church community!
