Interim Pianist Job Description Provide Accompaniment for Choir Practices o

• Currently at 6:45pm on Wednesday Evenings
• Provide Accompaniment for both Sunday Worship Services (8:30am and 10:30am) o
• Hymns, Prelude, Postlude, Offertory, Accompaniment for Anthems (if needed), and other special music as determined by the Choir Director.
• Attend Weekly Staff Meetings if requested by the Pastor or Choir Director Provide Accompaniment for special practices/services as determined by the Choir Director. Weddings/Funerals o
• The Pianist will have right of first refusal to play for Weddings and Funerals at the discretion of the Senior Pastor
• Supervision o
• The Pianist is supervised by the Choir Director under the Supervision of the Senior Minister
• Vacation/Paid Time Off o
• The Pianist receives 2 Sundays of PTO, but must find a substitute
• o• Any additional absence on a Sunday is not considered PTO and the pianist must find a substitute• o• Five Sundays Per Year, can be missed (except for Easter and Christmas Eve)• Salary Range o• $10,000 - $17,000 Per Year•
