Church Organist/Pianist New Horizon Presbyterian Church Council Bluffs, IA Job Details Part-time From $12,000 a year 15 hours ago Benefits Paid time off Qualifications Organ playing Piano Full Job Description New Horizon Presbyterian Church in Council Bluffs, Iowa, is an active, vibrant congregation seeking a talented and passionate organist/pianist and accompanist. We value our robust musical tradition and are looking for someone who can enhance our services with both classic liturgical repertoire and modern arrangements. The organist/pianist and accompanist will provide keyboard accompaniment for our weekly Sunday morning worship service and special seasonal events (Christmas Concert, Holy Week services, etc.). This person will play the organ and/or piano for Sunday morning services and a small number of additional services through the year; accompany the choir at mid-week rehearsals and Sunday services; play the keyboard with the praise band; and select and coordinate prelude and postlude for services. Our instruments include an Allen Renaissance 3-manual organ, a Mason & Hamlin 7' Semi-Concert Grand piano, and a Yamaha Clavinova model CVP-905. Compensation starts at $12,000 annually with additional income for optional funerals and weddings, and 4 weeks PTO.
